Designer Jader Almeida, in collaboration with architect Hugo Sasdelli, is participating in the 8th Creative Week of Tiradentes with the installation “Moles.”

Durante a Semana Criativa de Tiradentes, que acontece de 17 a 20 de outubro, como resultado, o público tem a oportunidade de apreciar a obra como um símbolo universal de equilíbrio e conexão entre corpo, mente e espírito, com o propósito de transcender esse diálogo.

During the Creative Week in Tiradentes, taking place from October 17 to 20, the audience has the chance to appreciate the work as a universal symbol of balance and connection between body, mind, and spirit, aiming to elevate this dialogue.

Contudo, a criação humana sempre esteve intrinsecamente ligada à expressão, onde o desejo de transformar e transcender se entrelaçam de maneira inseparável. Em virtude de nossas criações, construímos narrativas que vão além do objeto físico, de tal forma que atribuímos ainda mais significados que transcendem a materialidade.

Deste modo, a obra MOLES materializa o diálogo entre o que transformamos por meio de processos e tecnologias, utilizando os recursos oferecidos pela natureza.

Human creation has always been intrinsically linked to expression, where the desire to transform and transcend intertwines inseparably. Through our creations, we build narratives that extend beyond the physical object, attributing even deeper meanings that surpass materiality.

Thus, the work MOLES materializes the dialogue between what we transform through processes and technologies, utilizing the resources provided by nature.

Sobretudo, a obra deu origem a três volumes dispostos em um círculo de quinze metros de diâmetro, todos organizados para formar um triângulo. Assim sendo, esses volumes emergem do solo em analogia a erupções abruptas, rompendo a terra e se impondo de forma marcante no ambiente.

Contudo, apesar do contraste entre os volumes e o entorno, suas superfícies espelhadas comunicam a mensagem de que, independentemente das transformações, continuamos a ser, essencialmente, um reflexo daquilo que a natureza nos concede.

Above all, the work consists of three volumes arranged in a circle with a diameter of fifteen meters, all organized to form a triangle. Thus, these volumes emerge from the ground, akin to abrupt eruptions, breaking through the earth and making a striking impression on the environment.

However, despite the contrast between the volumes and their surroundings, their mirrored surfaces convey the message that, regardless of transformations, we remain, at our core, a reflection of what nature grants us.
