Fazendo uma retrospectiva, é de grande valia lembrar que a primeira fotografia da história foi de arquitetura, nomeada “View from window at Le Gras”, feita por Joseph Nicéphore Niepce em 1826 na cidade de Saint-Loup-de-Varennes, na França.

Looking back, it is of great value to remember that the first photograph in history was of architecture, named “View from window at Le Gras”, made by Joseph Nicéphore Niepce in 1826 in the town of Saint-Loup-de-Varennes in France.

Porém apenas nas primeiras décadas do século 20 que a relação entre a fotografia e a arquitetura estreitaram-se, pois com a crescente de revistas de arquitetura, aumentou a necessidade e desejo de registrar os projetos executados pelos arquitetos. Transformando então em um paradigma para representar a arquitetura moderna.

But only in the first decades of the 20th century did the relationship between photography and architecture strengthened, as with the growing number of architectural journals, the need and desire to record the projects executed by architects increased. Then transforming into a paradigm to represent modern architecture.

O registro do fotógrafo é uma releitura da criação do arquiteto. O objetivo do fotógrafo é ressaltar e apresentar a arquitetura projetada, com o registro do ângulo mais interessante, utilizando com sabedoria a luz para valorizar o projeto, buscando fazer o encontro perfeito de formas, linhas, profundidade e composições. O encontro da fotografia com a arquitetura resulta em arte. Assim, concretizando o modo de pensar que acompanhou a criação da Bauhaus, na Alemanha, até a vanguarda modernista.

The photographer’s record is a re-reading of the architect’s creation. The photographer’s goal is to highlight and present the projected architecture, with the record of the most interesting angle, wisely using light to enhance the project, seeking to make the perfect encounter of shapes, lines, depth and compositions. The encounter between photography and architecture results in art. Thus, realizing the way of thinking that accompanied the creation of the Bauhaus in Germany, to the modernist avant-garde.

É por meio do olhar além da técnica, que nos expressamos para o mundo, mostrando em detalhes e com precisão o que temos de melhor: nossa proposta de lifestyle pautada na elegância, e no modo de viver contemporâneo.
