From May 14th to 20th, JADERALMEIDA made its mark in New York. In an intense week of design, dialogue, and recognition, the brand showcased its strength. We were present from our showroom in Tribeca to the Javits Center at ICFF 2026, and also graced the stage at the NYCxDesign Awards.

A night of design in Tribeca

On May 14th, the flagship store on Hudson Street hosted industry professionals for an evening of design and discovery. This marked the brand’s official debut at NYCxDesign, the largest design festival in the Americas, in its 14th edition.

Guests had firsthand contact with the newly arrived pieces in the showroom, as well as an open exchange with designer Jader Almeida. More than just an event, this was a meeting between Brazil and New York. An immersive experience where volumes, textures, and finishes interacted in a contemplative and dynamic environment.

JADERALMEIDA at ICFF 2026

For the 2026 edition of ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair, at the Javits Center), JADERALMEIDA selected pieces that encapsulate functionality. Therefore, the chosen centerpiece represented the harmonious combination of technology and craftsmanship present in each product.

In booth 317, the ROOTS Coffee Table took center stage in the exhibition. Sculptural by nature, the piece embodies what defines the brand’s language. Above all, it represents a precise investigation into form and matter that transcends functionality and becomes an object of contemplation.

Award at the NYCxDesign Award 2026

On May 18th, over 400 architects and designers gathered in Manhattan for the 11th annual NYCxDesign Awards. The event was held at Lavan Midtown and hosted by Interior Design editor-in-chief Cindy Allen.

Among the winners of the evening, the BALLET Dining Table received the award in the Product category, in recognition of the masterful interplay between marble, brass, and wood that defines the piece.

BALLET is an expression of what JADERALMEIDA does best. Thus, the elongated top with gently curved edges in refined marble, the detailed geometric cutouts with brass fillets, and the asymmetrical legs create a configuration that is both intriguing and harmonious.

Undoubtedly, the award is a recognition that comes at a special time for the brand, in the context of its consolidation in the North American market.

Finally, JADERALMEIDA’s presence in New York at this edition of NYCxDesign represented more than just a series of events. In fact, it was the materialization of a path that the brand has been forging.

The next chapter is already mapped out: soon, the brand will inaugurate its second flagship store in the United States, in Bethesda, Maryland, next to Washington DC. This will further expand its physical presence and direct dialogue with professionals and enthusiasts who seek, in the pieces they choose, a lasting relationship between material and meaning.
